Minimum Hire Period

Our minimum hire period is 7 nights. If there are fewer days in between bookings, shorter rental periods might be possible.​

 

Cancellations

More than 60 days before rental start date: Booking Deposit (which is 10% of the total cost) is not refundable but the remaining 90% of the total cost is refundable. Within 60 days of rental start date: 100% of total hire charge is not refundable. In the event of cancellation, booking deposits are not transferable to alternative hire dates.  Please ensure you have your own holiday insurance in place to cover the costs if for any reason you have to cancel your reservation.

 

Insurance

To rent our campervans, drivers must be aged between 23 and 79 for Islay and 30 and 79 for Harris. On pick-up day, you'll need to provide a copy of your driver’s license and two matching proofs of address. You must have held your license for at least two years, and inform us of any points on it.​

 

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £1500 is required. This amount is equal to the insurance excess. Please read our T&C's here for more information. We will also have to check your licence for any points through the DVLA (for British licence holders) or insurance security questions. You will need a credit card for the deposit, this is taken through a pre-authorisation on the card machine and is a hold on your credit card. This hold is released when the van is brought back in good order (sorry, we don't take AMEX).​

 

Pick Up & Drop Off

Standard pick up time is 4PM, standard drop off time is 12AM. We try to be flexible and offer earlier or later pick up and drop off times if possible. Please get in touch to see what we can do. 

 

Bedding

Depending on occupancy the campervans come with either one double duvet and 2 pillows or two double duvets and four pillows. If you would like to save space we can also offer sleeping bags. Sheets and towels are not included but can be added as extras, or you may bring your own.​
